Overview
If your property serves guests from different countries, you can configure Sertifi to display portal pages and notifications in your guests' preferred language.
How to enable localization
- Go to Administration > Account Settings > Account Settings.
- Find the Enable Localization setting and turn it on.
- Select a default language. All applicable pages and notifications will default to this language.
- Click Save.
Important: All users must log out and log back in before changes take effect.
Letting individual users set their own language
Once localization is enabled, users can set their own preferred language from their profile: Administration > My Profile > Change Personal Info > Language.
Setting language at the file level
You can also set a language for individual files at the time of sending, regardless of the portal default:
- Go to Administration > Account Settings > Sending Page Defaults.
- Find the Language setting.
- Set to Show — this makes the language dropdown visible during the file send step so the sender can choose per file.
- Set to Hide — the portal default language is always used and the sender cannot change it per file.
Still need help?
