Overview
Credit card numbers in Sertifi are masked by default for security. To view a full card number, your account must be added to the Can View Unmasked CC security group by a Super Admin.
Step 1 — Super Admins: Grant access to a user
- Go to Administration > Account Settings > Security Settings.
- Find the Can View Unmasked CC security group.
- Click the silhouette icon next to the group name.
- Click Add Member and enter the user's email address.
- Click Save.
The user must log out and log back in for the permission to take effect.
Step 2 — View the credit card number
- Open the file or folder containing the authorization.
- Locate the credit card icon next to the payment entry.
- Click the icon — you will be prompted for a PIN.
- Check your email for the PIN, enter it, and click Verify.
- The full card number will display.
The credit card icon is not showing
Log out completely and log back in. If the icon still does not appear, confirm with your Super Admin that you have been added to the security group.
Not receiving the PIN email
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Make sure the email on your Sertifi account is your current work email.
- If you still have not received it after 5 minutes, contact Sertifi Support.
Important: CVV is never stored
CVV codes are collected for validation only and are never stored in Sertifi. Do not maintain a log of CVV data — this is required by PCI compliance.
