Who can do this?
Super Admins only. If you do not have Super Admin access, contact your portal's Super Admin for assistance.
Steps
- Log in to your Sertifi portal.
- Go to Administration > Create Admin.
- Enter the new user's email address and click Search.
- If your portal uses SSO (Marriott EID, Hyatt Global ID, etc.), enter the user's Enterprise ID in the field that appears.
- Select the appropriate role from the dropdown.
- Click Create Account.
The user will receive a Welcome email with a link to activate their account and set their password.
What if I get a message that the user already exists?
Their account may already be in the system but not yet activated. Go to Administration > Resend Activation Link, search for their email, and click Resend Email.
What if the user does not receive the activation email?
- Ask them to check their spam or junk folder.
- Confirm the email address was entered correctly.
- Go to Administration > Resend Activation Link and resend it.
SSO portals (Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton)
Users on SSO portals do not need to activate a password — they log in through their company's identity system. It is normal for their status to show as Pending. They can log in as soon as their EID is added.
