How to Add a Required ID Upload Field to a Credit Card Authorization Form

Overview

You can configure your Sertifi eAuthorization form to require guests to upload a government-issued ID alongside their credit card details. This is a portal-level setting controlled by a Super Admin.

Who can do this

Super Admins only.

Steps — Classic portal

1. Log in to your Sertifi Classic portal.
2. Go to Administration > Account Settings > eAuthorizations.
3. Look for a setting labeled Require ID Upload or Participant Upload.
4. Enable it and click Save Changes.

Steps — Next Gen portal

1. Log in to your Sertifi Next Gen portal.
2. Go to Administration > Account Settings.
3. Find the Participant Uploads section.
4. Enable the upload requirement and configure whether it is optional or required.
5. Click Save.

Not seeing the option?

Participant upload may not be enabled for your portal. Contact Sertifi Support at [e-mail] with your portal name to request it be enabled.
