What is eSignature?
Sertifi eSignature allows your property to send contracts and documents for digital signature — no credit card details or payments required. Documents are prepared with Data Tags that tell Sertifi where signatures, initials, dates, and other fields should appear.
How it works
- Upload a tagged document to your Document Library.
- Create a file room and send the document to the signer(s).
- Signers receive an email invitation and sign electronically.
- Completed documents are stored securely and available for download.
What must be configured before eSign works

Common issues
- Signer says they did not receive the email — Ask them to check spam. Go to the file room and click Resend Invitation.
- Signature fields are not appearing on the document — The document may not be tagged correctly. Check the Data Tags in the Document Editor.
- Signer completed but the file shows incomplete — Another signer level may still be pending. Check the file room for remaining signers.
