Why this happens
The signature, data tag, and field options in Sertifi's document editor only appear after a file has been uploaded or a folder room has been created. If you are trying to edit before uploading the document, the editing options will not be visible yet.
Correct workflow
- Start a new send or create a new folder room.
- Upload your document first (add it to the file room).
- Once the document is attached, the editing toolbar with signature, field, and data tag options will appear.
- Apply your tags and fields.
- Send to your guest.
If options are still missing after upload
This can occasionally happen on portals that have recently switched platforms (Classic to Next Gen). Contact Sertifi Support if the editing options do not appear after uploading your document.
