Two Signers Sharing One Email Address — How to Handle It

Overview

Sertifi doesn't support two signers at the same signing level with the same email address — the system treats them as the same person. Here's a workaround.

The solution

Set one signer as a first-level signer and the other as a second-level signer. Each signing level accepts its own name when the signature field is completed, so each person can sign with their own name even though they share an email.

Each person receives the same invitation email (since the address is the same) and completes their own signing level independently.
