What this error means
The Payment module is not set up error appears when you try to submit a CC authorization from a portal that is configured for eSignatures only — not eAuthorizations or ePayments.
Most common cause
You are logged into the wrong portal. Many properties have two separate Sertifi portals:
- Signature portal: for contracts, agreements, and documents requiring a signature only
- Authorization portal: for CC authorization forms with payment capture
If you are in the signature-only portal and try to process a CC authorization, you will see this error.
How to fix it
Log in to your authorization portal URL and try again. If you are unsure which URL handles authorizations, contact Sertifi Support and we will confirm the correct portal for your property.
