Yes — using Custom Reminders
Sertifi can send an automatic email notification to the file room owner (the sending Admin) when a document has not been signed within a set number of days before expiration. This helps your sales team follow up with guests before time runs out.
How Custom Reminders work for admins
- The reminder goes to the folder owner — the Admin who originally sent the file room.
- It applies to new file rooms going forward — it is not retroactive.
- You set how many days before expiration the reminder fires (e.g. 3 days before).
How to set it up
Super Admins can configure custom reminders from Administration > Account Settings > Custom Reminders. If this option is not visible in your portal, contact Sertifi Support and we can enable it and install a reminder for you.
When requesting setup, please provide:
- Your portal URL
- How many days before expiration the reminder should fire
- Whether it should go to the folder owner, the guest, or both
