Why notifications sometimes don't arrive
When a guest signs a document, Sertifi sends a notification email to the folder owner from Services@sertifi.net. These emails are sometimes filtered by corporate spam systems or email clients.
Steps to check
- Search your inbox for emails from Services@sertifi.net — the notification may have landed in spam, junk, or a filter folder.
- Add Services@sertifi.net to your contacts or safe senders list to prevent future filtering.
- Ask your IT department to whitelist sertifi.net as a trusted sending domain.
If the email was never delivered
Sertifi's system logs show whether an email was sent. If Support confirms the email was sent but you still cannot find it, the issue is with your email server's filtering — your IT team will need to investigate on their end.
Countersign notifications specifically
Countersign notification emails are triggered when the guest completes their signing. If you are not receiving these, check the steps above first. If you need to countersign and cannot find the notification, you can also access pending countersigns directly by logging into your portal.
