Issue
When selecting a participant from the Sertifi contact list in Salesforce, the same email address appears multiple times.
Why this happens
The same email address has been added as multiple different contact records in your Salesforce address book or contact list. Sertifi pulls all matching contacts and displays each one separately.
How to fix it
The duplicate contacts need to be removed from your Salesforce contact records. This must be done by someone with access to manage contacts in your Salesforce org — Sertifi Support cannot modify your contact data directly.
- In Salesforce, search for the email address showing duplicates.
- Identify which contact records contain the duplicate entry.
- Delete or merge the duplicate records, keeping only one active contact per email address.
Once duplicates are removed, the contact list in Sertifi will show only one entry per email.
